SUMMARY

Senior Data Analyst acts as a subject matter expert on Rochester Regional Health operational data. Mines data and provides guidance on what the data means.  

           

LOCATION: ElderONE- Administrative Office        

DEPARTMENT: EO HEALTH INFO MGMT

SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Day shift, 8:00am-4:30pm

        

ATTRIBUTES

  • 3-5 years analytics or business-related experience preferred

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and/or accounting preferred.

  • For ElderONE only:  1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather and confirm user requirements for various analytics projects.

  • Recommend, deploy and manage the implementation of business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting tools.

  • Use Excel functions to maintain and develop/maintain operational tools (e.g. Pivot tables, Slicers, V lookups & H lookups).

  • Leverage available tools to automate and streamline manual reports.

  • Improve systems by studying current practices, designing modifications.

  • Use statistical methods to identify areas for operational improvement and make suggestions for streamlining processes.

  • Effectively uses critical thinking skills and attention to detail to conduct a thorough analysis of market values, affordability, and internal operational factors to make programmatic recommendations to leadership.

  • Follow established project, departmental, company procedures and quality standards.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
