Commercial Banking Tribe

You’ll be joining the Commercial Bank Tribe, who is focusing on the special needs of the small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a designated area for further growth and investment within Corporate Bank.

We are responsible for the digital transformation of ~800.000 clients in 3 brands, i.e. the establishment of the BizBanking platform including development of digital sales and service processes as well as the automation of processes for this client segment.

We are on a journey of an extensive digitalisation of business processes and to migrate our applications to the cloud. We are working jointly together with our business colleagues in an agile setup and we are collaborating with stakeholders and engineers from other areas thriving to achieve a highly automated and adoptable process and application landscape.

As Senior Designer (f/m/x) you will support the Squads in our Sales & Services Tribe in designing user friendly frontends for our digital Sales and Services processes promoting user-centered design and developing innovative solutions for our small and medium companies.

Your key responsibilities

• You conceptualize and design intuitive and appealing user interfaces for our sales and service processes for small and medium companies.

• You analyse requirements from the business and user’s point of view, conduct user research and develop wireframes, mockups and prototypes to visualize and test design ideas.

• You collaborate with stakeholders from both IT and business to ensure designs are feasible, meet requirements and are accurately implemented.

• You conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine and improve designs of our user interfaces.

• You work in an agile setup supporting all Squads of the Sales & Services Tribe and you closely collaborate with other designers to develop and maintain the general design systems and styles guides.

Your skills and experiences

• You have a degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Media Informatics or a comparable qualification and a strong portfolio showcasing design projects and user-centric design solutions.

• Several years of relevant professional working experience as well as broad and comprehensive knowledge in user experience and user interface design, ideally in an agile development environment.

• You are proficient in Figma or other popular design tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision or similar. You have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.

• You have experience in creating user journeys, wireframes and prototypes as well as experience in user research methods and usability testing. A good understanding of JavaScript, Typescript and CSS is a plus.

• You are a creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. You are a good team player and are able to communicate fluently in English and German.
