We are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to join the Oracle Cloud Agent team and help define and build the future of Compute at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
As a member of the Oracle Cloud Agent team, you will play an active role in shaping the future of Compute at OCI. You will define and drive the evolution of GPU images and agents. We are looking for hands-on engineers who are passionate about solving complex problems in distributed systems, AI infrastructure, imaging, and highly available services. This is an exciting period of growth for our organization—we are scaling rapidly, working on ambitious new initiatives, and still in the early stages of many projects.
The Oracle Cloud Agent is a critical software that is responsible for managing plugins that enable configuration and monitoring of GPU instances. Our team is building the foundational image and agent infrastructure supporting the fast-expanding GPU Compute realm.

As a Senior Member of Technical Staff, you will design, develop, test, and maintain major components across the team’s technology stack. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of software development experience in systems or application-level engineering
- Proficiency one of the following programming languages: Go, Java, Python
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software is a plus
- Experience with version control systems and DevOps best practices.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
