POSITION SUMMARY:
The project manager ensures that division projects and campaigns are accomplished in a timely manner, providing outstanding communication to both department staff and internal and external clients and vendors, carefully tracking all project tasks, appropriately intervening when necessary to achieve project goals, and upholding established guidelines and procedures. This is a full time (2080 annual hours) exempt position that reports to the AVP for Creative Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist associate vice president and vice president in project management.
Essential
a. Oversee all phases of division project schedule
b. Oversee project work assignment processes
c. Maintain client relationships and serve as initial point of contact for all project status inquiries
d. Lead regularly scheduled production meetings with vice president, directors, clients, designers, and other staff
e. Communicate with clients and marketing staff to keep projects on schedule.
f. Manage, review, and evaluate project progress.
g. Report project delays and challenges so that appropriate action is taken.
h. Take pro-active or corrective action to ensure project deadlines are met.
i Proactively identify and adapt to bottlenecks in scheduling and resource allocation
Non-Essential
j. Oversee project distribution and designer workload.
k. Assign incoming design requests as needed.
Assist clients in developing communication plans ensuring that resources are available when needed.

2. Maintain division project management platform
Essential
a. Schedule and maintain projects in online project management system.
b. Perform project management platform training for internal staff and external clients
c. Develop and maintain systems for project performance reports.
d. Lead implementation of new platform tools and features.
Non-Essential
e. Research and implement improvements in project management processes.

3 Report on division performance
Essential
a. Develop systems for tracking key project and personnel performance indicators.
b. Deliver regular and timely reports such resource allocation, on time delivery, workload stresses.
c. Alert division leadership when drops in performance occur.
Non-Essential
d. Assist department managers in setting performance goals and tracking progress toward those goals.
e. Provide relevant data to managers for yearly personnel performance reviews.

4. Perform other departmental duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Skilled in computer, customer service, communication, and project management.
• Outstanding organizational skills must be demonstrated.
• Two years of experience in project management preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
REQUIRED MENTAL/PHYSICAL ABILTIES:
• Ability to type (keyboard proficiency).
• Ability to read with extreme care and accuracy.
• Ability to hear/discern spoken words on phone or in-person for interviews.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete assignments with minimum supervision.
• Ability to climb stairs.
• Ability to lift objects up to 35 pounds.
