Minimum Requirements:

Ten (10) years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position Description:

The University of Louisville (UofL) School of Music seeks qualified applicants with a specific skill set in creating music concert programs, beginning March 2025.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will generate School of Music concert programs using the UofL Office of Communication and Marketing (OCM) approved template. Primary deliverables include 200 programs throughout the academic year utilizing knowledge of composers, arrangements, titles of pieces, instruments, musical notations, etc.

Applicants should submit the following materials:

  • Cover Letter addressing qualifications and interest in the position

  • Resume detailing education and professional experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in a music-related field

  • 1 year of experience in producing music programs

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate familiarity with foreign languages (in particular French and German) as well as familiarity with uncommon (music specific) punctuations and diacritical marks.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
