Software Architect - Keycloak

<h2></h2> <p>We are seeking a hands-on Software Architect to lead our Keycloak identity management and Software Factory initiatives in a dynamic AWS environment within our Software R&amp;D architecture team.</p><h2></h2> <p> </p> <p>Keycloak IAM</p> <ul> <li>Design and implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Git-driven configurations to automate Keycloak<br/>realm setups, client configurations, and user management</li> <li>Lead the expansion and integration of Keycloak IAM across all our products, ensuring robust authentication (and authorization in<br/>the future)</li> <li>Provide deep technical expertise and guidance on Keycloak configuration, customization, deployment and scalability</li> <li>Implement comprehensive monitoring and observability for Keycloak, leveraging metrics, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability<br/>and quick incident response</li> </ul> <p><br/>Software Factory</p> <ul> <li>Lead the stabilization, review, simplification, and improvement of our common Gitlab CI/CD pipelines, supporting both Java and<br/>Python projects</li> <li>Work closely with our DevOps team to optimize infrastructure and deployment processes in an AWS environment (EKS via ArgoCD,<br/>images in Harbor)</li> <li>Actively enhance and modernize our common technical base—including a Gradle catalog, shared libraries, a bootstrap project, and<br/>standardized configurations—to accelerate microservice development, improve maintainability, and make the developer experience<br/>more efficient</li> </ul> <p><br/>Architecture &amp; Guidelines</p> <ul> <li>Define and enforce architectural principles, coding guidelines, and best practices for software development, ensuring consistency<br/>and scalability across our products</li> <li>Provide guidance and support to development teams on technical challenges, conduct design reviews, document best practices, conduct training sessions, and organize events to share knowledge and expertise</li> <li>Explore and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns to improve efficiency, security, reliability, and<br/>performance</li> </ul><h2>Skills and Qualifications</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Deep knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, and their practical application in<br/>securing microservices and multi-tenant architectures (at least 3 years)</li> <li>Extensive hands-on experience with Keycloak IAM, including configuration, customization through extensions, and deployment<br/>(at least 3 years)</li> <li>Strong experience with Gitlab CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation (at least 3 years)</li> <li>Proven expertise in designing and implementing microservices and common components (at least 4 years)</li> <li>Deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS), ArgoCD, Helm charts and containerization using Docker and Harbor (at least 2 years) </li> <li>Solid experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure (at least 2 years)</li> <li>Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot, with a strong understanding of Spring and Gradle (at least 3 years)</li> <li>Detailed understanding of Twelve Factor Application principles and Cloud Native application design</li> <li>Experience building multi-tenant SaaS applications at scale</li> <li>Strong experience in testing practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing, ensuring software quality and<br/>reliability</li> <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills</li> <li>B2 level minimum in written and spoken English.</li> <li>Bonus : Experience with Python</li> </ul><h2>Tech Stack</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Keycloak IAM</li> <li>Gitlab</li> <li>Sonar</li> <li>Java, Spring (SpringBoot), Gradle</li> <li>AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, etc.)</li> <li>EKS / ArgoCD / Helm / Harbor</li> <li>Vault</li> <li>Docker</li> <li>Gatling</li> <li>Grafana</li> <li>(Python)</li> </ul><h2>About Us</h2> <p> </p> <p>Foundever® is a global leader in the customer experience (CX) industry.
