Job Title: Intercompany Finance Analyst
City, Country: Barcelona, Spain
You will be a key stakeholder in the Global FP&A costing organization. This role covers a wide scope of dsm-firmenich products manufactured globally, managed via 6 SAP systems as well as non-SAP environment. The Intercompany Finance Analyst will obtain a good understanding of the dsm-firmenich invoicing and material flows as well as the Intercompany Profit elimination process. The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background, a strong grasp of intercompany processes, and the ability to work effectively across international teams.

Your key responsibilities- Intercompany Elimination: Ensure timely and accurate intercompany elimination for group consolidation reporting purposes.
- Data Accuracy & Reconciliation: Investigate inconsistencies in intercompany material movements and invoicing flows across entities.
- Corrective Actions: Post and document appropriate GL entries to correct intercompany accounting issues where required.
- Collaboration & Communication: Act as the central point of contact for intercompany matters, working closely with local entity controllers, accountants, and finance teams globally.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in the intercompany elimination processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and support internal/external audit requirements related to intercompany transactions.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (IFRS or US GAAP).
- 2–5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in an international or group consolidation environment.
- Familiarity with intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent communication skills and experience working in a global, multicultural environment.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
