As the Client Reporting Analyst, you will be a key member of the Client Service and Reporting Team contributing to the development and execution of client service and marketing materials and communications. Your role will manage the data stewardship of client data. The Client Reporting Analyst will produce and develop data content for client communications efforts and marketing materials and assist in materials production. Working closely with client engagement and relationship management, you will assist in timely and thorough responses to clients. This position is highly focused on data generation and reporting with precision and accuracy.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for developing and implementing internal and external databases to include data control, operational improvements and reporting requirements
  • Streamline data processes and data collection systems, optimizing statistical efficiency and quality
  • Explore new approaches to increase efficiency and improve processes without sacrificing quality
  • Stay current with knowledge of automation systems and processes, performance reporting trends, technologies and best practices
  • Acquire data from primary and secondary data sources to populate external databases with firm data as well as portfolio data and characteristics.
  • Prepare and execute quarterly client reporting RFIs, Questionnaires and DDQs with consistency, accuracy and expediency.
  • Develop charts, tables and exhibits for inclusion in existing marketing collateral templates as well as for one-off requests from the marketing and client service teams
  • Provide proofreading support and data quality control during quarter-end update cycles and as requested
  • Ensure all materials adhere to established design and data integrity standards
  • File all client communications and marketing materials according to business practice
  • Solicit or procure background data for questionnaires and other client reporting from portfolio accounting systems and external databases
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and assist in the completion of reporting projects, as assigned
  • Assist in preparation and execution of monthly client reporting requirements with attention to accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist in task management regarding projects requiring participation by multiple people
  • Maintain, update and produce data feeds and dashboards for internal audiences from CRM system
  • Develop expertise in Winslow Capital’s strategies and their investment vehicles as well as data and the process for accessing data from various providers throughout the Firm
  • Build strong internal working relationships and communicate regularly about projects within Client Service and Marketing, Portfolio Administration and Compliance, as well as various departments within parent company Nuveen/TIAA when necessary

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in client reporting, financial reporting/analysis, data management, data stewardship or data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in client reporting, financial reporting/analysis, data management, data stewardship or data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in business-related disciplines such as finance or economics
  • Asset management and/or investment industry experience
  • High-level math skills and the ability to translate mathematical information
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral, written and visual communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel including pivot tables and chart building
  • Understanding of analytics and markets/economy
  • Proficiency in database use including retrieval, report writing, developing efficiencies
  • Proficiency in or ability to acquire desktop publishing skills
  • Self-starter that can work both independently and collaboratively with tea
