Warehouse Trainer - Northern Cal Distribution Center

Job Description

Schedule: 2nd Shift; Monday-Friday, 2:15PM-10:45PM

As an area trainer you will be responsible for training new hires, transfers, cross training and below standard retraining. The trainer will monitor and document employee progress during training as well as monitor all training tools utilized within the area and ensure updates are made when necessary.

A day in the life…

• Answer questions and provide resources to new and existing employees
• Ensure employee have the most up-to-date tools to perform job duties and are able to utilize these tools effectively
• Provide timely feedback to department manager on employee performance
• Build rapport with all new hires and serve as their major source of support in the first two weeks of employment
• Set an example for others on reliability and safety

You own this if you have…

• 6+ months experience within Supply Chain
• Ability to build strong relationships quickly with new hires
• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals and groups
• Proven communication skills
• Ability to provide difficult training related feedback in a sensitive manner
• Department specific or training experience (preferred)
