Summary

As a Sr. Analyst, you will collect, compile, and analyse HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to workforce planning, recruitment, retention, and legal compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other sources
• Analyse workforce data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Create headcount reports and dashboards on historical data and forecasting results
• Create integrated database tracking tools for staffing patterns to optimize staffing forecasts
• Prepare reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership
• Identify and recommend reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics
• Based on metrics and analysis, make recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance
• Guide the compensation review and evaluation processes
• Conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or non-exempt
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
• Assist HR leadership with staffing, recruiting, and departmental budgets
• Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
  1. Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
  2. Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, or equivalent, relevant experience

• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred

Experience:

• 7 to 10+ years of related experience 
• 3 to 6+ years of successful forecasting and planning experience, with strong talent management and/or operations background, preferably in a high-demand production environment 

Skills:

• Experience using software to build and maintain complex forecasting models
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and expertise in Excel
• Technically proficient with, or the ability to quickly learn, the organization's HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support and work with HQ and global sites
