Reporting to the Senior Manager, Inventory Optimization & Planning, the Analyst, Warehouse & Inventory Optimization is a key member of the Inventory Optimization and Planning Team. This position is responsible for development, quality, and accuracy of the N&P Inventory Dashboards. This role will also manage KPI’s, ongoing development, data presentation for Optimization initiatives as well as our Inventory Management program at Nutrien. 

 

The successful candidate will leverage their analytical skills while identifying opportunities, efficiencies, and insights with respect to Inventory transactional and demand data. This role is a key resource for implementation of any new technology requirements (Barcoding, RFID, AI, ML, etc) and assisting with integration and documentation of supporting processes and training materials.

 

This position is available at our United States Nitrogen & Phosphate sites and is available for hybrid work.    

 

What you will do:  

  • Develop new Power BI N&P Inventory Dashboards to ensure solutions are reliable, accurate, scalable and secure with routine data validation back to source systems
  • Work with the Inventory Optimization Team and Stakeholders to develop optimal data views for various tools and report designs
  • Uses expertise to make recommendations on effective and sustainable data structures
  • Develop and Maintain Data Maps outlining key data sources for all Inventory reporting
  • Data analysis to support and identify opportunities, efficiencies, and insights with respect to optimization initiatives
  • Identify risks, data gaps or opportunities for improvements to data quality
  • Optimize data reporting, query structures and refresh capabilities. 
  • Quickly identify, troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve any bottlenecks due to application or database issues to drive resolution
  • Develop and maintain data field mapping between Oracle EAM and SAP for Inventory related data that supports reporting
  • Develop and maintain training material and support the roll out of Power BI Dashboard and analytics to end users

 

What you will bring:  

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer science, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or relevant combination of education and data analytics experience
  • 3+ years of related business experience 
  • Familiarity with Inventory, Warehouse and Maintenance data within similarly integrated ERP systems
  • Strong Power BI Development skills in both visualizations, data modeling, testing and controls

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

The salary range is $77,600 - $106,700. This range is estimated for Colorado State for Equal pay legislation. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
