Demand Planning Manager-Reporting, Systems & Processes

Purpose & Overall relevance for the orrganization:
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data models, analyzing data, and providing insights to support strategic decision making within North American (NAM) region. You will support initiatives aimed at improving demand planning processes, tools, and reports for the NAM region with input from Global and local counterparts. You will also drive the execution of processes and reports once operational.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. You must also have knowledge of SQL code, Power BI, Supply Chain Management and SAP ERP Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze data from various sources such as sales, marketing, production, and inventory using business analytics tools such as Databricks and Power BI.
- Develop holistic semantic models using Power BI dashboards and data queries in Databricks.
- Provide accurate and timely report solutions to management and stakeholders using Power BI dashboards and adhoc data queries in Databricks.
- Coordinate and support in the development of documentation, testing and training related to reports and system driven activities.
- Manage and execute SAP APO request for change (RFC) with local and global counterparts.
- Raise data enhancement requirement via JIRA and work with local and global teams to drive and implement solutions.
- Raise data and system reliability challenges via ASPEN tool and work with local and global teams to escalate and resolve as required.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives related to Demand Planning information and systems.
- Monitor data integrity between adidas planning system (SAP APO) and reporting tools.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- You have a solid understanding of relational databases and the ability to efficiently query large databases for data analysis, quality, cleaning & extraction using SQL. Welcome, but not required: Python, Spark, Hue, others.
- You have knowledge and work experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
- You effortlessly work in Integrated Development Environment (IDE) such like Visual Studio Code or Databricks.
- You are proficient using Power BI and DAX language for data visualization.
- You have a strong mathematical and statistical knowledge with proficiency in Excel.
- You have participated in SAP ERP System enhancement or implementation.
- You understand demand forecasting methods such as time series analysis, regression analysis, scenario analysis and forecast value added.
- You interact confidently with developers and stakeholders alike and can present your work to technical and non-technical audiences.
- You have excellent professional communication skills (English, written and oral).
- You have a good logical/critical thinking skills with an aptitude for determining root cause.
- You have a solid understanding of the physical, financial and information flow on a supply chain.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain & Logistics Management, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master's degree welcome but not required.
- 3+ years of experience in a Manager role in Supply Chain Management, Demand Planning or Business Analytics.
