About the role

Tarkett has a great opportunity for a Senior Benefits Administrator (Dalton, GA)

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Benefits Administrator to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing employee benefits programs ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in benefits administration, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer Benefits Programs: Oversee the administration of employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.

  • Compliance: Ensure all benefits programs comply with federal and state regulations. Assists with the preparation of annual reports and audits related to employee benefits.

  • Employee Support: Assist employees with benefits claims and respond to their inquiries.

  • Enrollment Coordination: Manage open enrollment periods. Process enrollments, changes, and terminations of employee benefits.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records and manage benefits documentation.

  • Research and Recommend: Stay informed about the latest trends and regulations in employee benefits and recommend changes or new programs.

  • Vendor Management: Interact with benefits providers to resolve issues.

Your skills we value:

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with all levels of the organization.

  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits

  • Organized and able to prioritize tasks, responding effectively to competing needs.

  • Analytical and Critical Thinking

Experience & Education Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.

  • At least 4-7 years of experience in benefit administration

  • Knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA regulations

  • Experience with benefits enrollment software preferred

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
