Your Purpose 

As an Associate Product Manager of Bitso's Trading Desk, you design, develop, and optimise products that power the company's liquidity engine in Latin America. You focus on product discovery, liquidity optimisation, and defining precise product specifications, while collaborating with trading, engineering, compliance, treasury, and sales teams. In this role, you ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and innovative solutions that reinforce Bitso's leadership in crypto-fintech and institutional-grade liquidity.

What you will be doing 

Product Ownership: Take responsibility for existing Trading Desk products, ensuring they are continuously improved from both a business and operational standpoint, delivering measurable value to clients and the organisation.

Liquidity Optimisation: Partner closely with the Trading Desk’s operations and trading teams to deepen market liquidity, tighten spreads, and enhance execution quality, ensuring Bitso remains the benchmark for institutional-grade trading in Latin America.

Product Definitions: Translate strategic ideas into precise, detailed specifications — such as minimum and maximum ticket sizes, business hours, and execution parameters — so that liquidity products are standardised, scalable, and client-ready.

Product Discovery: Identify and validate new opportunities within Bitso’s liquidity ecosystem, such as additional FX pairs, OTC solutions, or cross-border flows, by analysing market trends, competitor offerings, and client demand, and converting these insights into actionable product initiatives.

Customer Empathy: Work closely with institutional clients, sales, and product teams to gain a deep understanding of their needs, workflows, and pain points, ensuring that Trading Desk solutions are both relevant and impactful.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Remove blockers and align Trading Desk objectives with Bitso's broader mission by working seamlessly with compliance, treasury, engineering, sales, and product teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions for both retail and institutional markets.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary communication bridge, collaborating internally with finance, engineering, trading, and operations, and externally representing the Trading Desk to the larger Bitso corporate group. Clearly articulate the “why” behind product decisions and provide regular progress updates.

Innovation Mindset: Continuously explore and deliver new ways of offering liquidity as a service — from synthetic FX rails to automated RFQ systems — positioning Bitso at the forefront of crypto-fintech innovation across Latin America.
