Water & Protection (W&P) is looking for a Finance Senior Specialist to provide financial support to the Aramids Operations & Supply Chain Team. This role combines strategic, tactical, and execution skill sets, with exposure across regions and the Aramids Business Management Team and will report to the Nomex® Business Finance Manager.
This is an onsite hybrid position. The team works 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Candidates must live within a commutable distance. There is no relocation available for this position.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Partnering with Operations Leadership, providing financial support and reporting, driving clear understanding and accountability on costs in all aspects of the supply chain, and establishing robust processes and coordination with Plant Cost Accounting Team.
Providing a monthly outlook and variance analysis across several key areas, including Cost of Manufacturing (COM), Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and Other Product Costs, for use in the monthly financial outlook process.
Consolidating the monthly Plant Fixed Cost (PFC) and Variable Cost outlooks and providing a holistic view of trends across the network, along with variance analysis and corrective actions needed to deliver against targets
Working with Supply Chain to support Inventory outlook processes and working capital analysis.
Ad hoc financial modeling and investment proposals working closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders; providing decision support and financial guidance as needed to maximize business value.
Managing all financial aspects of the Operations and Supply Chain Budget for the annual Strategy Review and Execution Review.
Preparing monthly results communication, timely and accurately, including consolidation of site inputs and results and insightful variance analysis, while relentlessly driving standardization and simplification in the process.
Ensuring adherence to financial policies within the site and business, based on corporate guidelines and business strategies, including SOX compliance for business finance processes.
Your Qualification Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related Technical Field.
5+ years’ experience in Finance, previous experience in manufacturing and supply chain preferred, including strong understanding of product costing.
Demonstrated financial acumen and strong analytical competency.
