As a Technical Documentation and Product Support Specialist:
What You'll Do:
- Create documentation covering technical procedures such as installation and operation of automotive service equipment.
- Update and create knowledge base articles and documentation for both internal and external use.
- Work with product managers and engineers, as well as using a wide range of documentation to provide support.
- Interact with outside sales representatives to provide technical support for automotive service equipment.
- Receive email and phone correspondence from outside sales representatives regarding technical product questions, and will work with the help desk ticket system to track and record support questions.
- Special projects, which require organizational skills, following specific instructions, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to follow through. The candidate must be open to input and instruction from multiple sources.
- Additional duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum of a 2-year technical/communications degree or equivalent experience.
- Technical background, strong basic computer skills, and an interest in hands-on learning.
- Experience in the automotive service industry is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, be able to interact with technical associates, and take direction from engineering and marketing staff.
