About the role

General Summary:  The role requires proactive coordination with overseas agents and cross-functional teams to ensure timely sample tracking and development.

 

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing all sample procedures for division.
  • Daily communication with internal teams (design, tech, production, and more) and overseas agents.
  • Correct incoming advertising and marketing samples. Communicate these changes and specs to internal teams and overseas agents.
  • Update and maintain division linesheets.
  • Ship samples to buyers and overseas.
  • Trend forecasting
  • Maintain photo library.
  • Maintaining and organizing of samples and submits
  • Production set up.
  • Market Week set up.
  • Special projects as required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Manage sample tracking, requests, and approvals across all divisions.
  • Maintain accurate and updated linesheets and internal records.
  • Daily communication with internal departments (design, tech, production) and overseas agents.
  • Review, log, and correct advertising and marketing samples; communicate updates to teams and overseas agents.
  • Ship and track samples to buyers and international vendors.
  • Coordinate seasonal market week setups.
  • Support sample sourcing initiatives.
  • Organize and maintain the photo library for seasonal assortments.
  • Organize and archive development samples and submit libraries.
  • Assist with production setup and handoff to production teams.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the product development team.

 

Specific Job Skills:

  • Excellent time management, strong organizational skills, very detail oriented, ability to juggle numerous tasks at once in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft programs and basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Knowledge and interest in fashion industry and willingness to learn new skills
  • Knowledge of color / textiles / garment construction
  • Strong time management, organization, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of the fashion development cycle and willingness to learn new tools and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word); basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop preferred.
  • Familiarity with garment construction, textiles, and color theory.

 

Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations and/or Experience:

  • HS Diploma or College Degree
  • 0-2 years prior experience in the industry

 

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $24.00 /Hr- $26.00/Hr. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
