We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.</p> <p><strong>Job Summary: </strong></p> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated professional support the Dedrone Finance team in Germany The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue and will be required perform a variety of tasks as part of the Month-end close process, playing a critical role in stabilizing the function while supporting the global consolidation and financial reporting process.</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote with Travel to Kassel Germany once per month</p> <p><strong>Reports To: </strong>Financial Controller, EMEA </p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p><strong>Accounting:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger and financial statement closing activities in accordance with US GAAP and HGB</li> <li>Support standard cost accounting process incl. accounting and analysis of typical variances, e.g. on material, labour, overheads</li> <li>Coordinate and support income tax returns, file VAT returns, execute transfer pricing policy according to global guidance</li> <li>Conduct actual vs. budget analysis, prepare flux and month end commentary, cash planning and working capital management</li> <li>Generate and post accounts receivable invoices in accordance with revenue recognition under ASC606/IFRS 15</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with international team, e.g. sales, corporate accounting, and tax</li> <li>Support intercompany accounting and settlement process according to global guidance</li> <li>Be key contact for tax auditors, tax advisors and internal/external auditors on relevant topics</li> </ul> <p><strong>Project and Controls:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support post-merger integration of Axon subsidiaries; support harmonization of ERP-systems, chart of accounts, processes, and tools</li> <li>Participate in (sub-)projects or lead sub-projects to optimize the accounting activities and the implementation of internal (SOX) controls</li> <li>Perform and document month end close controls, e.g. around balance sheet reconciliation and manual journal entries</li> <li>Develop into functional expert in Accounting on ERP (NetSuite/Salesforce) related topics</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Successfully completed studies in Business Administration or a successfully completed Finance-related professional education</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of experience in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to US GAAP and HGB</li> <li>Experience in post-merger integration, entity restructuring and ERP-projects (Microsoft D365 and NetSuite) is a strong plus</li> <li>Experience with multiple deliverable contracts and accounting according to international revenue recognition guidelines</li> <li>Business fluent written and spoken English and German language skills; other languages are advantageous</li> <li>Ability to constructively deal with conflicts and ambiguity to work in a cross-functional and dynamic environment</li> <li>Experience in internal controls and process optimization</li> </ul> <p> </p><p>Don’t meet every single requirement?
