Food Service Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Food Service Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the weekend operations of our food service department, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality meals in a clean and welcoming environment. 

Schedule:

This is a part-time role.

Permanent days will be Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10AM - 6PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that food is presented in an appealing and sanitary manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area, including kitchen, dining areas, and storage spaces.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of food.
• Assist with stocking and inventory management, including receiving and storing deliveries.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, ovens, and food warmers.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas for special events or functions.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
