Senior Full Stack Engineer (Mobile) – React Native (70% Frontend / 30% Backend)

We are an Open-Source technology embracing team, utilizing React-Native, React.js for our front end, mobile experience, and Java for our cloud native backend services. In our team, you will collaborate with talented engineers across platforms, including mobile engineers, backend service engineers, UX designers, and product managers.

 

 

What you will do?

• Working in collaboration with architects and the development lead, you will document and develop best practices for development and deployment of applications, fostering growth within the team.
• Design and implement user interface components for JavaScript-based web and mobile applications using React Native ecosystem
• BuSild app and UI components from prototypes and wireframes
• Leverage Native APIs for tight integrations with both Android and iOS platforms
• Write automated tests to ensure the code is error-free and optimized for performance
• Improve front-end performance by identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks
• Create efficient, reusable front-end modules
• Determine software systems requirements and lead systems hardware/software design, either individually or leading a team of resources.
• Analyze, design, program, debug, support, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
• On the backend, you’ll engage with cloud native technology, developing server-side logic and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

What you will bring?

• Experience in designing best in class user experience in mobile with offline-first design
• Ability to articulate the specifics of quality design while enforcing engineering principles
• Organized, disciplined, and capable of managing large projects simultaneously
• High standards for code quality and the ability to hold contributors accountable
• Advanced knowledge of front-end design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong expertise in mobile development using react native
• Strong expertise in integrating analytics, Crashlytics, and measuring CPU and battery utilizations for mobile applications
• Strong expertise in ReactJS and Redux technologies
• Strong expertise in REST/ GraphQL
• Ability to multitask between several different requirements and features concurrently
• Experience with cloud native technology, CI/CD
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Superior analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude
• At least 30% of your experience should be in backend development, with a focus on either Java or NodeJS
