Summary
The Vehicle Processing Center Lead is responsible for supporting daily vehicle processing operations within a fast-paced vehicle logistics environment. This role provides leadership, direction, and operational support to processing teams to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and customer requirements are consistently met. The Vehicle Processing Center Lead assists with coordinating workflow, monitoring team performance, maintaining operational efficiency, and promptly reporting safety concerns, damages, or operational issues to management. Available to work overtime throughout the week as well as weekends.
Responsibilities
Primary
Lead and support daily vehicle processing operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are achieved.
Monitor vehicle processing activities including inspections, accessory installations, detailing, fueling, battery charging, and quality checks.
Communicate operational updates, priorities, and concerns to management and team members.
Assist with training and onboarding new employees on VPC procedures and safety expectations.
Identify and help resolve operational delays, processing issues, and workflow bottlenecks.
Ensure every team member has the necessary tools to perform the job.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
Promote a positive, safety-focused, and team-oriented work environment.
Report all safety concerns, vehicle damages, accidents, equipment issues, and unprofessional conduct to management immediately
Ensure timely escalation of employee relations (ER) complaints, concerns, and policy violations to Supervisor/Manager upon becoming aware of, observing, or receiving reports of such matters.
Secondary
Communicate and review processes/procedures in place on a regular basis and correct if necessary. Lead VPC team members on a daily basis and ensure all PDI processes are being followed to meet customer expectations.
Ensure everybody is in dress code and trained to fulfil their job duties in an efficient and safe manner.
During shift, Team Lead must be visible and available for any questions coming from team members, Supervisor, or AM.
Assist team members and Supervisor by checking line inventory and alerting Warehouse if reference material and throw-in levels are low.

Compensation Range
$24.84 per hour
Skills
• Employees assigned to vehicle processing and accessory installation functions that utilize English-only client work orders must be able to read and understand English-language instructions and documentation necessary to safely and accurately complete assigned tasks
• Leadership and team coordination preferred
• Prior leadership experience preferred
• Strong safety awareness preferred
Education & Experience
• High School Diploma/GED Required
• 1 year lead experience Preferred
• Valid Driver's License Required
