PATH seeks a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Specialist for the US Government (USG)-funded “Reaching Every At-risk Community and Household with Malaria Services” (PMI REACH Malaria) global contract in Senegal. PMI REACH Malaria aims to provide implementation support services and technical assistance to countries to accelerate progress in comprehensive delivery of facility and community-based malaria services, including malaria case management, prevention of malaria in pregnancy (MiP), malaria diagnostics, data collection and use for service delivery, and other malaria prevention interventions.
The MEL Specialist will report to the Regional Malaria Coordinator and will implement MEL systems at the regional level. The MEL Specialist will also have a reporting line to the MEL Manager.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to development of country-level MEL plans and systems, including development or tailoring of country level SOPs and data collection tools and forms.
Contribute to annual work planning and ensure inclusion of MEL activities; implement regional-level MEL-related activities and track their progress against the work plan.
Lead and oversee routine data collection, cleaning, processing, analysis, interpretation and reporting of performance monitoring and contextual indicators in collaboration with the health regional directorate and health districts staff.
Provide technical support and oversight for project monitoring of activities, regional and district level assessments, or other data collection efforts at the regional level.
