Job Description
EAG Laboratories is looking for a Technical Writer who will work in the Medical Device Testing Group. EAG Laboratories, part of the Eurofins group, is a leader in analytical chemistry, advanced microscopy, surface analysis and semiconductor testing services of various types of materials from synthetic biomaterials to nanotechnology, deliver new “super materials” with the potential to transform our world. Our laboratories are at the forefront of this revolution, providing the scientific expertise and analytical techniques to support companies at every phase of the product lifecycle, from R&D to manufacturing.

We have a great opportunity for a strong detail-oriented Technical Writer with a degree in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry. In the role, you will author, review analytical test reports and documentation that meets the needs and organizational standards of the Medical Device team at EAG, obtain an understanding of the general types of documents and associated styles used, evaluate current documentation practices and offer approaches for improvement.
Qualifications
- A successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or Chemistry, 3+ years’ experience (in the field of Analytical Chemistry) and 2+ years’ experience (Technical Writing specific) and demonstrated understanding of cGMP regulations.
- Demonstrate superior written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail, excellent grammar and spelling, proven ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritization and demonstrated proficiency with word processor programs (MS Word), PDF software (Adobe Acrobat), MS Excel, and other MS Office products.
