Site Manager – Social Housing  Location: Sunderland Salary: Competitive + Package Type: Full Time | Permanent We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee internal works on social housing schemes across the North East. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor delivering high-quality refurbishment and compliance works within occupied and void properties. The ideal candidate will come from a gas, heating, or internal refurbishment background, with strong experience managing trades and subcontractors within the social housing sector. Key Responsibilities: Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple housing schemes Overseeing internal works including heating, gas, kitchens, bathrooms, and general refurbishments Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to budget Managing H&S compliance and site documentation Liaising with clients, tenants, and senior management Conducting site inspections and quality checks Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Manager within social housing/refurbishment Gas/heating background highly desirable Strong understanding of internal refurbishment programmes SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid certified Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple trades and programmes effectively
