The pay range for this position is $69,000 to $119,500, annually.  The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.  In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus or short-term incentive program.

Position Overview:

As part of the talented Navico Group – Power Systems team, you will support a wide portfolio of marine and RV electrical products. You will work with the cross functional team to develop new innovative products for these markets.   At Brunswick, we have passion for our work and a distinct ability to deliver. 

Essential Functions:

• You are responsible for bringing products from the conceptual phase, through design, prototype, qualification, and into production, following a phase gate development process.
• You will be expected to work and collaborate with global teams encompassing electrical engineering, industrial design, sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and quality.
• You will work with product management to develop technical product requirements.
• You will develop detailed test plans.
• You will create CAD models and drawings.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree – Mechanical Engineering
• Creo or SolidWorks 3D design experience.
• Minimum 5 years of New Product Development experience.
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with injection molded plastics and metal stamping.
• Experience with marine electrical products.
• Experience developing products that meet UL, CSA, CE, and ABYC requirements.
• Experience developing products using a phase gate process.

Working Conditions:

• Hybrid office environment. Two to three days required in the office.
• Electrical test lab
• Travel 5% or less
