#10449 - Senior QA Automation Engineer

Qualitest group is looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Bucharest.

Our partner is a New York-based software company founded in 2006.They operate in four major markets: Cloud TV (that is, OTT) for operators and media companies, online video platform (OVP) offered mostly to media companies and brands looking to distribute content or monetize it, Education Video Platform (EdVP) offered to educational institutions, and Enterprise Video Platform (EVP) for collaboration, communications and marketing.

Part of your other responsibilities are:

• Designing and building the automated testing infrastructure and process to support the development and deployment processes.
• Leading the architecture, planning and development of the QA automation infrastructure and framework
  
• Work closely with software QA, DevOps and software development engineers
  
• Defining the QA automation methodologies and tools
  
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet customer needs
  
• Identifying quality issues, tracking bugs and creating test reports
  

Requirements

• BSc. degree in computer science or equivalent
• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation
  
• Strong design, coding and debugging skills (working hands-on)
• Experience with testing complex cloud-based software systems, CI/CD processes and source control systems (preferably GitHub)
• Experience with designing and writing E2E automation tests, preferably using Selenium Pyrhon/Java
• Strong understanding in Web technologies
• Experience with coding languages, like: Groovy, Python, Java, etc.
• Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting and technical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
