Legend Biotech is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Benefits & Workday as part of the Total Rewards team based in Bridgewater, NJ.

 

Role Overview

The Senior Benefits & Workday Analyst is a key partner in the administration, optimization, and delivery of Legend Biotech’s employee benefits programs, with a strong focus on Workday Benefits. This role combines deep benefits expertise with Workday system proficiency to ensure accurate data, efficient processes, and a seamless employee experience.
Working closely with the Sr. Manager, Benefits & Mobility, this role provides insights into system design and benefits operations while driving administrative excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Workday Benefits subject matter expert (SME), supporting system configuration, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Manage data loads, conversions, and integrations; lead parallel and end-to-end testing and defect resolution.
  • Develop and maintain reporting architecture, dashboards, and analytics to support compliance and decision-making.
  • Conduct ongoing data audits, system maintenance, and data integrity initiatives.
  • Train HR team members and end users on Workday Benefits processes and functionality.
  • Manage end-to-end life event administration, including eligibility review and documentation validation.
  • Provide guidance on complex benefits topics including qualifying life events, imputed income, COBRA, special enrollments, and policy exceptions.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for employee and vendor inquiries; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Deliver employee-facing communications including benefits guides, presentations, and education materials.
  • Support wellness initiatives and broader employee experience programs.
  • Lead open enrollment planning, execution, and communication strategy in partnership with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage Workday configuration, testing, and troubleshooting during open enroll.
  • Analyze post-enrollment data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and support implementation of new programs, integrations, and plan changes.
  • Oversee file feeds and data exchanges, ensuring accuracy and timely transmission.
  • Coordinate issue escalation and resolution with carriers and third-party administrators.
  • Reconcile carrier invoices against enrollment data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process purchase orders, invoices, and payments in alignment with internal controls.
  • Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Audit payroll deductions and ensure alignment across Workday, payroll, and vendor systems.
  • Conduct regular audits of enrollment, eligibility, dependent verification, and beneficiary data.
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including plan documents, notices, and SOPs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in benefits administration or HR.
  • Proven experience with Workday Benefits, including implementations, data conversions
