SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting Program Manager in oversight of clinical services in order to ensure that therapeutic services for youth in our program are held to the standard of best practice, attuned to the client’s culture, and clinically appropriate; provides clinical supervision for clinicians and signs BBS hours; assists in interviewing for open positions and on-boarding of new employees; provides oversight and supervision of clinical trainees from local universities used in the program and maintains the collaborative relationship with the university programs; Facilitates weekly group supervision with program staff; Holds an active clinical caseload focused on higher needs cases and cases in transition

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist all leadership positions in overseeing the hiring and on-boarding process for the program, including resume reviews, phone screens, in person interviews, calling of references, initial staff training, on-going training, and outreach to local schools, universities, and community programs.
Provide weekly individual supervision of clinical staff, and provide group supervision for the staff.
Provide oversight of staff documentation and approval when supervisor approval is required.
This position is not expected to maintain an ongoing caseload. However, the supervisor may provide direct services or carry a limited caseload when operational needs require including situations when a clinician is on leave, high risk/high needs cases, to develop familiarity with documentation workflow, or as number of clinical oversight needs vary (i.e. changes to therapist staffing).
Maintain resource library and clinical tools for staff.
Oversight of therapy services in the program, including clinical assistance to staff in therapy role.
Attend committee meetings in line with clinical supervision duties, which could include SUD committee, Clinical Standards, Reflective Supervision, IDEA, and the training committee.
Assist with Director vacation coverage tasks.
Maintains clear, effective, and open communication between multi-disciplinary clinical staff and administrative personnel within and between SDCC programs.
Fulfills training requirements including SmartCare, cultural competency, HIPAA, and all applicable EBP training.
Maintains current licensure.
Perform special projects and other related duties as required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides clinical supervision of clinicians in the program; Will also supervise Trainees from local universities; Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; motivating; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical records, journals, reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management and public groups.
