Genesys is seeking a talented individual to join the Business Transformation Team to help solve the most pressing and challenging business problems of one of the world’s largest privately held software companies. 

The Sr. Business Transformation Manager will play an integral part in achieving world-class operations for Genesys using our strategic plan as a guide and focusing on problem solving, process optimization, change excellence, analytics, and insights. This role reports directly to the VP, Business Transformation and regularly interacts with senior and executive leaders on strategy, planning, and operational execution.  

The Business Transformation Team is at the center of accelerating Genesys’ ability to deliver against its strategic and financial goals. The scope of initiatives is largely focused on cross-functional transformation, driving revenue growth, operational improvement, and M&A integration. The ideal candidate must be comfortable deriving meaning and relevance from imperfect information based on raw data, stakeholder interviews, and operational investigations.   

Location: US Remote (not limited to the states that the job is tagged to)

   

Key responsibilities include:   

  • Strategic Leadership: Manage and lead cross-functional initiatives from ideation through operationalization, honoring commitments for timeliness, quality, budget, and business outcomes.   
  • Program Management: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans end-to-end, including success criteria, roadmap, milestones, and deliverables, while ensuring integration across multiple teams and functions.   
  • Problem Solving & Innovation: Analyze complex business issues and organizational challenges, providing thought leadership and building meaningful recommendations that lead to the development of a strategy and roadmap for execution. 
  • Governance & Analytics: Establish and maintain analytic frameworks and performance dashboards to ensure effective governance and ongoing measurement of initiative success. 
  • Stakeholder Influence: Build formal networks and collaborate with senior leaders, internal teams, and external partners to drive initiative success, ensuring buy-in and effective communication.    
  • Risk Mitigation & Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring obstacles are addressed and lessons are applied to future initiatives.  
  • Mentorship & Talent Development: Provide guidance, coaching, and support to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in execution.
