Temple Cleaner Lead

The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.     

Payrate: $22.00 - $25.00

The pay listed is the hourly range for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

  Basic Qualifications:
  •  Must be 18 years of age or older     •  No experience required and on the job training provided •  No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  Preferred Qualifications:
  •  Customer service experience  •  1 year of similar work experience   This position is for custodial services at a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, only members of the Church who are endowed and have a current temple recommend qualify for employment for this specific position.  Apart from this, ABM is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in its employment decisions on any basis that would violate the law.

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. 
• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs 
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc. 
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities 
• A cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned. 
   

Responsibilities:

• dusts furniture, walls, light fixtures.
• May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. 
• Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications 
• Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment 
• Gathers and empties trash 
• Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures 
• Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms 
•  Cleans glass doors
• Must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order 
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties 
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned
