Summary: The Tradeshow Production Specialist is responsible for the development, planning and execution of industry segment regional corporate tradeshows while maintaining and ensuring the consistency of the Festo brand and messaging. In this role, the incumbent is expected to travel to flagship North American tradeshows as necessary to oversee event production as well as provide general troubleshooting support of displays and product boards on-site at shows. Additionally, this position will manage exhibition inventory and participate in the development of new product displays and boards. To be successful in this position, the individual should possess a strong tradeshow production background, with a stellar track record related to tradeshow execution specifically, and technical expertise.

Location: Islandia, NY

Travel Expectation: 40-50%

 

Duties of this Job Include:

• Coordinates all industry tradeshows with the highest standard of detail including managing all pre-production planning, logistics, booth design and layout, shipping, vendor contracting, overseeing install and dismantle on- site and post-production.

• Confirm equipment to be utilized for each show and the associated requirements related to electrical, air, water, tubing, and all other utility needs.

• Plan exhibit structural requirements utilizing our owned booth properties in accordance with convention center or venue, equipment installation, and overall tradeshow production parameters.

• Learns and understands products used for tradeshow booths such as static panels and dynamic displays.

• Tracks and manages exhibition inventory and ensures proper equipment is sent to tradeshows; consistently monitors location of equipment, crates, tools, and other items needed for tradeshows.

• Works with third party inventory warehouse to monitor stored property in accordance with policies and procedures.

• Negotiates and contracts all tradeshow elements including but not limited to securing booth, hotel, transportation, food and beverage, audio-visual, support materials, lead retrieval etc. for national and regional tradeshows.

• Compiles Tradeshow Preliminary Plan to be presented, including all general show information and production details.

• Lead tradeshow preliminary plan meeting with in-house partners to review and gather information, implement, and then host a final meeting prior to the tradeshow with key stakeholders to reconfirm tradeshow details.

• In collaboration with internal and external partners, develops thoughtful floor plan layouts with products and utilities for tradeshows.

• Works with third party tradeshow production company for rendering services.

• Maintains all records for each tradeshow to include budget, booth property, and personnel.

• Manages and tracks expenses to ensure projects operate within budget.

• Monitors all aspects of each tradeshow for process improvements and offers proactive review of potential issues, troubleshooting, and resolutions.

• Coordinates with production company to ensure logistics for each show are met on time.

• Maintains knowledge of all booth and product inventory; responsible for coordinating shipments accordingly

• Collaborate with marketing management to ensure messaging, in-booth graphic elements, and promotional materials are cohesive and executed on time.

• Compiles and distributes post tradeshow analysis report inclusive of final budget, show recap, survey and observations.

• Provide support and oversight of show build, updating and troubleshooting of displays and boards to be used for tradeshows.

• Ensure all show materials and equipment are kept in show-ready condition and manage maintenance accordingly.

• Field requests for displays and boards within our inventory for programs and initiatives outside of tradeshows, if usage is approved coordinate logistics.
