Job Summary:

Owensboro Community and Technical College is accepting applications for our Procurement Associate III position. The position will perform purchasing and payable responsibilities ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. This position reports to the Associate Dean of Business Affairs.

Job Duties:

• Perform purchasing, requisitions, and payable responsibilities within Peoplesoft Financial System while adhering to all Federal, State, local laws, and KCTCS policies and procedures.
Serve as Procurement Card Administrator – oversee the compliance with KCTCS Procard procedures.
• Enter billing, contracts, and memorandums of agreements (MOAs) in PeopleSoft modules.
• Create accounting journals as needed.
• Track and monitor utility usage.
• Track, maintain, and tag inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Math, or Business Administration) plus one (1) year related work experience or the equivalent. OR associate’s degree plus (3) years of related work experience. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree plus three (3) years related experience is preferred.
