As a communications professional, you know how to inform and engage key audiences and help promote an organization’s reputation. We’re looking for a communications specialist like you who is ready to grow and willing to win for the client and live our mission every day. Here, you’ll grow your consulting skills to design, develop, produce, and consult on a variety of internal and external communication materials and media that supports national defense and security priorities, as well as a technological advancement of analytical capabilities.

As a communications specialist on our team, you’ll closely impact the development of creative solutions to complex problems. Your self-guided yet collaborative spirit will build and nurture relationships with team members, stakeholders, and clients to create new and maintain existing client mission partnerships, coordinate internal best practices for communications, and foster a community of information sharing and transparency.

As a collaborator on all aspects of verbal and written communications, you’ll create newsletters, website content, briefs, talking points, executive summaries, and marketing materials. Your creative-thinking and business-oriented mindset will guide your client to inform key audiences through words, images, and sound with tools like Jira and Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio, and Publisher.

You Have:

• 1+ years of experience working in a professional environment
• 1+ years of experience developing, editing, and formatting final written communications documentation and deliverables
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and SharePoint
• Ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task
• Ability to leverage expertise in editing and analysis
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• 1+ years of experience working directly with senior leaders
• Possession of excellent analysis and data gathering skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Secret clearance
