The Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking Advanced Test Operations Test Program Integration Engineers in Berkeley, MO to support the Test Bed Operations team and related test activities. The Test Bed Operations organization is focused on modifying, certifying, and operating experimental aircraft to be used as flying laboratories to acquire engineering research data for Boeing program customers. The Test Program Integrator role is responsible for test design, implementation, and verification of flight test related activities across the portfolio of Test Bed activities. The role requires significant coordination with internal and external customers, suppliers, and cross-functional team members.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Experienced and Senior Level Advanced Test Operations Test Program Integration Engineers. 

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Plan and coordinate flight test mission requirements with responsible engineers from internal and external customers, to include collecting and defining test requirements, data requirements, instrumentation system definition/installation, test assets and spares, aircraft modification and de-modifications requirements and timelines, FAA certification requirements, etc.

  • Plan, coordinate, and maintain the configuration of test assets  

  • Supports the development of metrology processes, methods, and tools 

  • Supports post-flight performance data evaluation 

  • Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity 

  • Report test program status to BT&E management 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 1+ years of experience with flight test, flight operations, or system test

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Level 4: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience as a lead engineer and/or in a leadership role

  • Experience with requirements elicitation, refinement, and verification 

  • Experience with aircraft instrumentation system design implementation and application in flight test environment

  • Experience in mission systems integration and test 

  • Active US DoD Clearance (Secret or higher)
