About the role: 

DuploCloud is looking for a DevOps Engineer with a demonstrated background in cloud deployments. The role involves understanding the customer’s high level application and translating it into lower-level cloud constructs, followed by executing that implementation using the DuploCloud platform. This may include dockerization of customer applications running natively in virtual machines. Post-deployment, other aspects of cloud operations like central logging, monitoring and alerting will have to be implemented. Finally, all these have to tie into compliance controls from standards like SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, HITRUST, etc.

You will be working with customers directly to support their onboarding, implementation and support needs. Further, you will participate and assist customers on their security infrastructure and InfoSec audits.

You will be a strong fit for this role if you have experience … 

• Designing and implementing cloud architecture, infrastructure, or DevOps solutions (5+ years).
• Building and optimizing Docker images across stacks like Python, Node.js, Java, or PHP (3+ years).
• Working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Using container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, ECS, or similar platforms.
• Implementing and managing cloud security constructs (IAM, Security Groups, GuardDuty, WAF, Security Hub, penetration testing, IDS, CVE/vulnerability scanning).
• CI/CD systems such as GitLab workflows, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins.
• Onboarding and supporting customers through multi-month infrastructure transformations.
• Partnering with customers on security infrastructure and InfoSec audits (SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, HITRUST, etc.).
• Delivering world-class DevOps support while interfacing directly with customers.

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of cloud architecture, infrastructure or DevOps experience.
• 3+ years of building docker images across one or more stacks like Python, NodeJs, Java, PHP, etc.
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS. Azure, GCP)
• Sound knowledge of Kubernetes, ECS and similar container orchestration technologies.
• Deep understanding of cloud security constructs like IAM, SG, GuardDuty, penetration tests, WAF, Security Hub, intrusion detection, CVE, and vulnerability scanning.
• Technical and customer focused.
• Good knowledge on CI/CD systems, for example experience using GitLab workflows, Github Actions, BitBucket Pipeline, Jenkins etc. would be a plus.
• Enjoy helping customers with their infrastructure transformation via solutions engineering through a 2-3 month DuploCloud onboarding process.
• Passionate about providing world class devops support to customers.
• Able to interface directly with customers, guiding them through their devops journey.

Compensation Philosophy:

Range: $120,000.00- $160,000.00 depending on location and level of experience.
