Senior Full Stack Developer

What does a successful Senior Full Stack Developer do at Fiserv?

You will design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java on the back end and React or Angular on the front end. You will use your experience of both technologies and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solution cloud-based systems using APIs and write complex and efficient queries.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain web applications using Java and either React or Angular; ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and implement responsive-user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Write clean and efficient Java code to build scalable and robust back-end systems, including APIs, services, and data manipulation
• Integrate front-end components with back-end systems; ensure seamless communication and optimal performance
• Implement and maintain database structures using SQL or NoSQL databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
• Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and fix issues; ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free applications
• Collaborate with team members in code reviews, pair programming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities

What you will need to have:

• 6+ years of industry experience, and building large-scalable web applications development
• 1+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in Java and either React or Angular, to build responsive-user interfaces with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• 1+ years of experience with problem solving and the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex web applications
• 1+ years of experience with PCI Data and collaborating with data scientists and data governance, security, and privacy principle
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

What would be great to have:

• Advanced degrees or certifications
• Experience in Front-End Frameworks
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
