Responsibilities:

As a Video Standards and Encoder Optimization Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers and researchers to assist in the development and enhancement of video coding technologies. ● Conduct research and develop innovative solutions for video compression and processing.

● Work on optimizing video encoders to improve performance and video quality.

Requirements:

● A master/PhD program in computer science, electrical engineering, math, statistics, or related fields.

● Related working experience/course work in image/video compression or image processing.

● Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or similar.

● Ability to communicate/collaborate with other researchers/engineers

● Ability to think out of box.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Good understanding of state-of-the-art video compression algorithms.

● Working experience on HEVC, AV1, VVC, AVS or other video codecs.

● Experience with software development and debugging.
