The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Office of the Director is seeking to hire a dynamic individual to serve as the Director’s Special Assistant for Maternal and Child Health Services, where you'll lead initiatives to empower birthing people and families in policy development and program implementation. Job Description
- Serves as the Director’s Special Assistant for Maternal and Child Health Services:Acts as a policymaking
official - Provides diverse, effective, and on-going opportunities for birthing people and families to express their views on
Department policy development and program implementation - Under direction of the Director and in conjunction with the Department's Legislative Office, discusses maternal
and child health policy, finance, and outcomes with members of the General Assembly and other elected
officials - Encourages, promotes, and collaborates in the establishment of policy to improve maternal and child health
outcomes - Collects, analyzes and reports on data related to maternal health and child health outcomes
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated
above
