Solutions Specialist - AI Patient Intake
Assort HealthAbout the role
Our mission is to make exceptional healthcare accessible anytime, anywhere, for anyone.
At Assort Health, we believe healthcare should feel effortless and connected — quick answers, clear communication, and seamless access to care. That’s why we’re building a new foundation for how patients and providers connect, driven by AI, built to embrace the complexities of healthcare, and tailored to each provider’s unique needs.
Assort is the most comprehensive patient experience platform powered by specialty-specific agentic AI. Assort’s omnichannel AI agents seamlessly integrate with EHR/PMS and complicated provider preferences to eliminate lengthy hold times and inefficiencies that stand in the way of patients getting the care they need.
Since launching in 2023, Assort has managed over 145M+ patient interactions, slashing average hold times from 11 minutes to 1 minute. Our platform now handles calls for thousands of providers with 98%+ resolution rates and 99% scheduling accuracy. Patient satisfaction averages 4.5/5 over 52K reviews, and we’ve achieved 20× revenue growth in 2025. We’re scaling rapidly and expanding adoption across the entire healthcare industry.
About the Role:
As a Solutions Specialist for AI Patient Intake at Assort Health, you will sit at the intersection of product, sales, and AI operations — serving as the dedicated expert for our Patient Intake product line. You will parachute into deals at the right moment, bring deep domain credibility, and partner closely with our Patient Intake Product Manager to ensure this capability gets sold and adopted effectively.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and is passionate about both technology and healthcare. You will work directly with health systems, specialty practices, and our internal teams to ensure Assort's AI voice agents deliver measurable results across patient intake workflows.
What you’ll do:
Specialized Sales & Deal Support
Serve as the go-to product expert for Assort's AI Patient Intake solution, engaging in active deals once patient intake is in scope
Engage in sales conversations to deliver targeted demos, answer deep product questions, and drive conviction
Lead product demos and discovery calls tailored to front-office operators, scheduling teams, IT leaders, and clinical administrators
Support RFPs and technical evaluations with patient intake-specific product expertise
Product & Domain Expertise
Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of patient intake workflows — including scheduling, eligibility verification, and pre-visit data collection — and how Assort's platform integrates with EHRs (Epic, Athena, Nextech, etc.)
Act as the sales arm of the Patient Intake Product team — functioning as a close partner to the PM and serving as the bridge between what's built and what gets bought
Stay current on the competitive landscape and emerging trends in AI-driven patient intake and scheduling automation
Feedback & Product Collaboration
Synthesize insights from customer and prospect interactions into structured, actionable product feedback for the Patient Intake PM
Validate new intake features and capabilities before launch; contribute to shaping the roadmap based on deal learnings
Create and maintain product documentation, battlecards, FAQs, and customer-facing training materials specific to patient intake
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, and other specialists to help drive customer engagements from initial discovery through to solution deployment.
Collaborate with Customer Success to support adoption and identify upsell opportunities within the patient intake product line
What we’re looking for:
4+ years of experience in a Product Management, Solutions/Sales Engineer, or Sales role deeply focused on patient intake and scheduling or equivalent professional experience operating in healthcare
Strong understanding of healthcare front-office workflows, particularly patient scheduling, intake coordination, and call center environments
Excellent communicator — able to translate complex AI/technical concepts for non-technical healthcare stakeholders
Experience with EHR platforms (Epic, Athena, Nextgen, or similar) and comfort navigating integrations and system workflows
