Overview

As a Change Execution Director in Finance Strategic Analytics, you will have a leading role across a portfolio of change programmes and initiatives to meet the Bank’s strategy and ensure that business benefits are achieved. You will lead change execution managers and own the engagement of key sponsors and stakeholders build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders across the Bank, providing thought leadership and acting as a trusted adviser. You are also accountable for optimizing your portfolio and for ensuring overall costs and benefits are managed and delivered. You have a broad change skillset with depth of expertise and experience in one or more core change capabilities, e.g. Programme Management, Process Improvement/Re-engineering, Target Operating Model design and execution.

What You’ll Do

  • You will lead a portfolio of programmes to meet the Bank’s strategy

  • You will be responsible for achieving the benefits of the programmes through quality delivery within agreed budget, resources and time frame, issue resolution and risk management

  • You will manage the programmes’ interactions with regulators where the programmes implement global or local regulatory requirements

How You’ll Lead

  • You will build strong relationships with programme sponsors and key stakeholders across business divisions and infrastructure functions (especially Finance, Risk and Group Strategic Analytics) by taking your client’s perspective and by championing accountability

  • You will encourage solutions that support the Bank’s vision, goals, and strategy, whilst understanding the regulatory landscape

  • You will take time to lead and inspire team members by enabling them to manage their own deliveries, by helping them to develop their competencies and by providing equitable opportunities to support their growth

Skills You’ll Need

  • Master degree or above, preferably in business administration, economics, mathematics, computer science (or equivalent)

  • Extensive relevant experience in one or more of the following subjects: Business Analysis; Project and Programme Management; Target Operating Model design and execution; Process Improvement/Re-engineering

  • Extensive relevant in a senior management role with budget and people responsibility

  • Extensive relevant experience in the banking industry, ideally including interaction with regulators

  • Extensive relevant experience in leading a globally distributed team

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Ability to adapt your communication to various groups of stakeholders at various levels of seniority

  • Having worked in an Agile at Scale environment

  • Experience with data frameworks, business architecture or IT architecture

  • Clear understanding of Finance’s key processes, governance framework and systems

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $170,000 to $280,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
