General Transp Tech II, III -Kingsville

The Kingsville Section is hiring a General Transportation Technician II or III. This position helps to make roads safer while gaining additional skills in roadway maintenance work. As a General Transportation Technician II or III, you will report to the Maintenance Section Supervisor or their Crew Chief.

TxDOT’s Kingsville Maintenance office is responsible for maintaining around 670 lane miles throughout Kleberg County and the Southern Part of JIM Wells and Nueces County. Our General Transportation Technicians are the heart of TxDOT and play a vital role in ensuring a safe throughway for the traveling public.  This office utilizes light and heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, backhoes, skid steers and motor graders, just to name a few. Annual Salary Grade/Range

General Transportation Technician II  (A17) - $42,976.00-$64,469.00
General Transportation Technician III  (A18) - $45,521.00-$71,055.00
