The Business Development Team is dedicated to supporting the company’s global vision, profitability, and growth objectives. The team will do this through leadership and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, joint venture processes, and portfolio development. The team is highly selective and has strong visibility with senior management. Joining this team can lead to a variety of development and professional growth opportunities within the organization. 

This role is located in Carrier’s office in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the development, evaluation, and negotiation of acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures  

  • Lead day-to-day activities of the deal team responsible for all aspects related to mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and joint ventures, including identification, screening, evaluation, deal structuring and negotiation, due diligence, closing, and integration of transactions  

  • Build financial models to support detailed valuation analysis  

  • Partner with other team members and external advisers including investment banking firms in the preparation and execution of large-scale transactions  

  • Prepare strategic rationale and financial valuation materials for discussion with senior leadership  

  • Assist in the coordination of transaction due diligence  

  • Support analysis of transactions; provide in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis, including assessment of industry competitors and benchmarking

 

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 10 years of experience in corporate finance, and/or investment banking

  • 7 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions  

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors in Finance, Business Administration, Economics  

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills as well as valuation and financial modeling skills 

  • Expert knowledge in the development, evaluation, and negotiation of acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures

  • Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and able to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs and systems
