Job Description
4th Shift: Friday & Saturday (1 mandatory additional 8 hour shift every 2 weeks with the possibility of additional mandatory OT)
Hours: 10pm-10am
5th Shift: Saturday & Sunday (1 mandatory additional 8 hour shift every 2 weeks with the possibility of additional mandatory OT)
Hours: 10am-10pm
Pay: $42.76/hour (Friday & Saturday); $28.51/hour (shifts worked during the week)
**Must be flexible with working either shift**
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (*denotes essential functions as defined by ADA)
- Follow all plant safety and environmental policies
- Maintain an organized workspace
- Monitor operations and perform adjustments as necessary to ensure quality production
- Troubleshoot and analyze equipment problems
- Initiate corrective actions to improve quality and equipment effectiveness
- Repair or replace defective machine components, such as solenoids, valves, and cylinders
- Perform line and machine changeovers
- Optimize processes to reduce set-up time
- Achieve expected production quantities to ensure customer goals are obtained
- Complete assigned technical training to support personal growth and development
- Collaborate with Operators, Manufacturing Technicians, Engineers, and area Leadership
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong technical aptitude, with basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, print-reading, and mechanics
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Willing to learn and adapt in a fast paced, team environment
- Highly motivated and self-driven
