Website Speed Optimization Expert

This is a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced Web Performance Engineer / Developer to fix our website speed issues and bring our site up to Core Web Vitals standards.

Our Google PageSpeed reports show failed Core Web Vitals on both mobile and desktop. We need an expert who can analyze, optimize, and implement improvements that deliver measurable results across all devices.

What You’ll Do​

• Audit website performance and identify bottlenecks (server, CMS, plugins, scripts).
  

• Optimize for LCP, TTFB, FCP and ensure Core Web Vitals pass in field data.
  

• Implement advanced speed optimizations:
  

• Server & CDN caching (Cloudflare, LiteSpeed, or NGINX)
  

• Image optimization (WebP/AVIF, responsive sets, lazy load)
  

• Font optimization (subsetting, preload, font-display: swap)
  

• CSS/JS minification, async/defer, and removal of unused code
  

• Database query and backend performance tuning
  

• Configure and fine-tune Bricks Builder setup for lightweight, high-performing pages.
  

• Provide a documented handover with recommendations to prevent regressions.

Requirements

• Proven track record of fixing Core Web Vitals (please share live before/after results).
  

• Strong experience with WordPress + Bricks Builder (must-have).
  

• Deep knowledge of PHP, MySQL, hosting optimization, and caching strategies.
  

• Expertise in Chrome DevTools, Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and Search Console CWV.
  

• Ability to work independently and deliver results quickly.
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced performance plugins (Perfmatters, WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache).
  

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and their relation to speed.
  

• Hands-on experience optimizing third-party scripts and analytics tags.
