Leveraging your extensive experience, you will collaborate with stakeholders, analyze integration needs, and architect solutions that ensure our systems remain distributed, scalable, and highly efficient. <h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to identify intricate product and technical requirements, translating them into actionable insights;</li><li>Conduct comprehensive analyses to determine integration needs, guaranteeing seamless compatibility with existing systems;</li><li>Evaluate business processes and integration considerations to propose standardized, architecture-compliant technology solutions;</li><li>Understand, troubleshoot and ensure high availability of production systems used by a large customer base;</li><li>Showcase your proficiency in 'DevOps' principles, seamlessly integrating them into our application development lifecycle;</li><li>Provide hands-on support in designing, deploying, administering, and monitoring cloud-based production systems, predominantly on the AWS platform;</li><li>Apply your expertise with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Elastic Cache, CloudFront, API Gateway, S3, RDS, NLB/ALB, and VPC configurations;</li><li>Craft sophisticated SQL queries that prioritize efficiency and performance, reflecting your mastery of database interactions.</li></ul> <h3>Technical Proficiencies:</h3> <ul> <li>In-depth knowledge of API design standards and microservice design patterns, driving the implementation of best practices;</li><li>Mastery in Java-based microservices development using Spring Boot, and Hibernate;</li><li>Expertise in containerization through Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes;</li><li>Hands-on experience with AWS services, complemented by a deep understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Code Pipeline, Maven, git, and JIRA;</li><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.</li></ul>As a Java Developer - Microservices Expert at 8x8 Inc., you'll be at the forefront of technology innovation, driving the evolution of communication and collaboration solutions.
