OBJECTIVE: The Maintenance Supervisor coordinates maintenance, installation and repair work on the Ranch. Manages a team responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the Shop, Grounds and Fleet/Mechanical to ensure tasks are executed in a timely manner according to project requirements.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Monitor and review maintenance tickets, determine priorities, prepare maintenance schedules, allocate work to the best suited team member, and conduct proper follow-up. 

• Supervise Mechanic and Seasonal Grounds staff including maintenance of landscaping, flowers, farm box, ground irrigation and pool. 

• Monitor inventory of materials, supplies, tools, parts and equipment. Submit purchase requests and order according to project and capital improvement needs.

 • Manage relationships with contractors, service providers and vendors. 

• Coordinate projects with Maintenance Facilities Supervisor and Maintenance Manager, as necessary. 

• Maintain service logs and report on daily maintenance checks. 

• Conduct quick sweep morning inspections to identify issues and schedule necessary maintenance. 

• Coordinate set-up for events and weddings. Schedule Maintenance staff and work with Ranch Hands to prepare event space, including installation of archways, clearing space, and moving furniture. 

• Resolve issues that arise and manage priorities in order to keep maintenance activities running smoothly. 

• Monitor expenses and control the maintenance budget. 

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations. 

• Maintains records on all company owned vehicles, including department assignments and maintenance schedules. Assists Accountant with vehicle registration and insurance. 

• Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and resolving problems. 

• Approves timecards and leave requests for direct reports. 


NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all related duties as assigned. 


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• Excellent planning and time management skills. 

• Strong administrative abilities and very detail oriented. 

• A vocational degree is a plus. 

• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft365 Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint. 

• Understanding of budgeting and inventory management. 

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the company’s auto insurance carrier. 


WORKING CONDITIONS 

• Employee will work indoors and outdoors. 

• Required to talk and listen, sit, stand, and use hands. 

• The employee is required to walk, reach with hands, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. 

• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally to lift and or move up to 50 pounds. 

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.

Salary Description 55,000 to 62,000 plus bonus
