About the role

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties: Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues. Provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. Consult with users/clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Create quality mockups and prototypes, ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency. Write performant and accessible web and app components that power beautiful visual design experiences and websites. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Coordinate with testers, development team, and other stakeholders on a regular basis and carry out all special testing activities such as post-production validation testing, Integration testing and smoke tests. Follow engineering standards and deploy the software components/services using CI/CD pipelines. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes. Prepare maintenance plans and upgrade schedules for the organizations systems and inventory. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation IT occupation developing applications within the IT industry. Three (3) years of experience must include: Website programming languages including HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript and TypeScript with front-end frameworks including React; Designing CSS templates using CSS Grid and Flexbox; Asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, real-time updates using AJAX and Web Sockets; React JS components, forms, events, keys, hooks, router and redux for application state management; Using client input to create functional, creative webpages by adhering to WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) accessibility requirements; Testing and debugging websites using Jest, Enzyme, and cypress; and Using Git and version control systems to manage code changes and maintain a clear project history. 40 hrs./wk.
