Senior Revenue Accounting Manager - EMEA

<p>Databricks is looking for an experienced contract review professional with in-depth SaaS knowledge and a customer-centric mindset to improve our contract review and support cycle. This role is the first of its type in EMEA and comes with high visibility, reporting to our Global Director of Revenue Assurance. You will support Databricks' growth, while creating scalable and efficient processes in the EMEA region. In this role you will partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, as well as Revenue Operations on deal structure to ensure revenue recognition and financial reporting objectives are met.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>The impact you will have: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Support the deal review cycle and ensure the application of ASC 606 and related GAAP pronouncements to customer contracts.</li> <li>Build relationships with internal and external international partners.</li> <li>Review contracts to identify non-standard terms and assess impact on revenue accounting and disclosures.</li> <li>Design and implement control activities within the deal review cycle.</li> <li>Support the continued enhancement of CPQ.</li> <li>Support the rollout of new products, services, and go to market models with consideration of our financial reporting objectives and efficient deal processes</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we look for:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting.</li> <li>Significant experience in both public accounting and corporate revenue accounting roles.</li> <li>Knowledge and understanding of current revenue recognition guidance for enterprise software and SaaS arrangements (eg. "ASC 606").</li> <li>Deal review and operational accounting experience in a growing SaaS technology business.</li> <li>Confidence performing control activities in the quote-to-cash process.
