<p> </p> <hr> <p> </p> <p>This role follows a <strong>1st</strong> shift schedule, working from <strong>7:00 AM to 3:30 PM</strong>, with designated days off on <strong>Saturday and Sunday.</strong></p> <hr> <p>A Line Cook is responsible for raw food prep, washing, cutting, cooking, cooling, labeling and portioning product for our Ready to Heat (RTH) business, while also owning documentation, counts, and tracking progress. Cooks must adhere to all floor safety and food safety standard operating procedures (SOPs).</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Detailed Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <p><strong><em>Raw food prep, washing, cutting, cooking, cooling</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to receive direction from Production Kitchen Supervisor to fulfill production requirements</li> <li>Must label packaging at the standard average rate, as well as submit progress made on activities throughout the day</li> <li>Read and understand recipes</li> <li>Cook food in ovens or tilt skilletsPrepare sauces and components for ingredients</li> <li>Ability to transition between tasks when needed</li> <li>Move hot speed racks or food into blast chillers</li> <li>Safely use all cooking, cooling, traying, and labeling equipment</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Quality CCPs and Documentation</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Must work at a fast pace with strong attention to detail, while multitasking between different recipe steps</li> <li>Must be able to accurately document times, temperatures, and other key information for food safety batch tracing & CCP documentation</li> <li>Must know how to use proper measuring utensils to portion ingredients</li> </ul> <p><strong>Sanitation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to maintain a clean and safe workspace</li> <li>Clean & sanitize probes, tables, and other smallwares between recipe steps</li> <li>Conduct full changeovers when introducing a new allergen to a workspace</li> <li>Running Clean cycles on Rational ovens, blast chillers, and cleaning out tilt skillets</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>General Responsibilities</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Required to follow all GMPs while onsite at the facilities, including additional GMPs identified in high care areas where ROP is being manufactures</li> <li>Must keep work area clean at all times and assist in EOD clean ups</li> <li>Adheres to all safety guidelines (i.e. proper lifting techniques)</li&
