Medical School Admissions Consultant Needed (Fully Remote)

Novastar Prep is seeking a Medical School Admissions Consultant to provide expert, one-on-one guidance to a growing number of aspiring medical students. This is a remote, flexible role ideal for experienced professionals with deep knowledge of the U.S. medical school admissions landscape.

Applicants with experience advising for medical schools in California, Virginia, and Washington, DC are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide prospective medical school applicants in enhancing their profiles and application materials
• Strategize with students on school selection based on background, goals, and competitiveness
• Provide constructive feedback on personal statements, secondaries, and overall application documents
• Maintain regular communication with applicants and, when needed, their families
• Stay current on admissions trends, school requirements, and best practices
• Help students develop a clear, confident admissions plan and timeline

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Admissions Committee Officer or Board Member at a U.S. Medical School

• Currently in a residency program or have completed an MD

• Graduate of a top U.S. medical school

• Demonstrated passion for mentoring and coaching future medical professionals

• Strong planning, communication, and organizational skills

• Experience with applicants targeting CA, VA, or DC medical schools is a strong plus
